House of Prayer Creed

  1. We believe in the authority and inspiration of the Holy Scriptures as God’s revelation to mankind, and the only infallible guide of faith and behavior to the believer.
  2. We believe that there is one true God, creator of all things visible and invisible, and manifested in three persons of one substance, power and eternity; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, who became human in the womb of a virgin woman, having a Divine and human nature, who suffered, was crucified, died and was buried; and that he resurrected on the third day, overcoming death and sin to become the sole and sufficient savior of mankind.
  4. We believe that the salvation of man is freely offered to those who believe and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, granting the believer redemption in his blood, regeneration, justification, sanctification and glorification.
  5. We believe that after His resurrection, Jesus ascended to heaven and sat at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us. Confirming and establishing the threefold and powerful ministry of prayer: Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the church, obeying the commandment to pray without ceasing.
  6. We believe in the second coming of Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his coming and in his kingdom.
  7. We believe that the church of Christ will be snatched up in the air, that the dead in Christ will rise first and those who are alive will be transformed to receive the Lord in the air.
  8. We believe in the powerful anointing and empowerment of believers through operational gifts given by the Father; ministerial gifts given by the Son; and spiritual gifts imparted by the Holy Spirit.
  9. We believe that all believers should be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; participate in the Lord’s Super with the church in memory of Christ and annunciation of his imminent return; and that as witnesses of Christ, we must evangelize and disciple others, congregate in a local church and faithfully fulfill our tithes and offerings.
  10. We believe that there will be a final judgment for the unbelievers, who will be cast into the lake of fire along with Satan and the fallen angels; and that God will create a new Heaven, a new earth and a new Jerusalem, where the saints will dwell for eternity.
